Stuart A. Burkhalter

Stuart Burkhalter practices commercial litigation. He graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and received the John A. Cortner Award for winning the Vanderbilt Intramural Moot Court Competition. Mr. Burkhalter also served as the Associate Problem Editor for the Moot Court Board, served as a Managing Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law, and received a Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award for his work in Civil Procedure. Mr. Burkhalter graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2003 with a double major in English and Media Studies. 

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Burkhalter lived and worked in Washington, D.C. and New York City. He also wrote, co-edited, and co-produced a 32-minute short film, which was accepted into multiple film festivals and won an award at a festival in Virginia.
